- 50/50 vs. fair share, side by side
- Instant download · $, £, €, CA$, A$

Money is the conversation you keep postponing.
- One of you earns more, and 50/50 doesn't feel fair — but nobody wants to be the one to say it.
- You never decided who pays what, so someone is always quietly keeping score.
- Money talks only happen when something goes wrong, so they always feel like a fight.
- 62% of couples keep at least some money separate — and most never wrote down how "ours" works.
You're not bad at money as a couple. You just never had a system for "ours".
When you agree on a split, see the numbers side by side and meet once a month with an agenda, money becomes a 20-minute check-in instead of a recurring argument. Nobody has to be the "money person" alone.
The Yours · Mine · Ours Method
Four parts that work together:
Ours
List your shared bills and goals once. Choose 50/50, a fair share by income, or your own %. The kit shows what each of you moves to the joint account every payday.
Yours & mine
Set personal fun money for each of you and a "check in first" amount. Below it, no questions asked.
Settle up
Log who paid for what. The kit keeps a running "who owes whom", so nobody keeps score in their head.
Money date
Once a month, 20 minutes, 4 steps: Bills, Buffers, Builders, Breathing room — 5 minutes each, then one fun plan.

Good questions
We keep our money separate. Does it still work?
Yes. It works with a joint account, fully separate accounts or a mix. It shows who pays which shared bill and keeps a running balance of who owes whom.
Is a fair share by income better than 50/50?
Neither is right for every couple. The kit shows both side by side with your real numbers so you can decide together — or choose your own percentage.
Do we both need Excel?
No. Upload it to Google Sheets and share it with your partner — you can both see and update it from your phones. It also works in Excel and Apple Numbers.
Is this couples therapy or financial advice?
No. It's a planning and conversation tool. If money talks feel really hard, a qualified professional can help.
Which currency does it use?
Your download includes $, £, €, CA$ and A$ versions.
